The Art of LAN Gaming

And yes - we do mean art.  Something got lost in gaming over the last 20 years, and we're trying to bring back the joy and benefit, without the risks of addiction and mental health issues

LAN Gaming

Do you remember the 90s? The internet was new, expensive and, well, noisy!  (It also disconnected when your sister wanted to phone her friends).  Gaming was still there though, games like Red Alert, Doom, Quake, GoldenEye, Age of Empires...all amazing multiplayer games that we'd meet up over weekends or even after school.  We'd play around the kitchen table, snacks, chatting with each other.

Well - things have changed.  It's now behind closed doors, over the internet and the social and mental health benefits are all but lost.

Switching up the location though, coming along to The Game Zone, playing alongside and with (in-person) other children, can completely reverse this - playing games with all of the social and mental health benefits that gaming can have!

We are trying to change this.  Creating a space to play alongside friends, chat, get excited, comple a game and then have chat about it afterwards!
